24-yr-old held with weapon in Jammu: Police

A 24-year-old man from Raghunath Pura in Jammu has been arrested alongwith a weapon, police said on Tuesday.

The arrested person has been identified as Akshay Kumar (24) son of Rajesh Kumar resident of Raghunath Pura Jammu, who runs a Drugs Rehabilitation Centre at Gharota in the name of Ayodhya Foundation.

“The accused got arrested with a weapon during routine checking,” police told the news agency

Police added that a case under FIR number 38/2022 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station City and the recovered weapon is a country made pistol
